Hey everyone,
With Spring and Summer fast approaching I can't stop thinking about getting away for a long-overdue vacation. I was supposed to go to Cancun in the second week in June, but considering plane tickets are currently about $600 I think I might have to re-evaluate my vacation destination. Any thoughts/suggestions/advice on places you've been, or have always wanted to get away to? After I get some feedback, I'll do some research and post photos of my favorite picks.
Thanks guys!
I would love to do a tour of New England or the Virginia/Maryland area just for the historical content alone. There are so many landmarks in Mass., as well as Washington D.C. And with the saved airfare, I'm pretty sure you could pick one of the areas and stay in a hotel with some spending money left over. The only reason why I haven't done it is because I keep getting out voted for vacation destinations every year!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go to California. San Francisco would have to be my first stop. I think I would have to spend at least a month in the state. I want to backpack some of Cali's state parks, and take pictures of the Redwood Trees.
ReplyDeleteI feel as though Cali represents a sort of freedom to me. I always picture it being a warm, sunny, and happy place. If I ever get to take a month to just get away from everything, Cali's where I'm going!
If your looking for a beautiful scenery and a really nice vacation I would highly recommend vacationing in Vermont. Many people think that you only go to Vermont in the winter to snowboard, and if you go in the summer, there is nothing to do. This is not the case. Go and visit Burlington. Its a beautiful city with great night life, and its right on lake Champlain. They have all sorts of tourist attractions and the mountains are within a 20 min car ride. The great outdoors awaits you!
ReplyDeleteThe Pocono's are nice, I might be going there this Summer or Fall.Mountains are always a great way to get away from it all and it's close!
